About Me
- Name: Martin Stein

I am working at the intersection of life science research and information technology. I have several years (5+) of working experience as team leader, project manager, SAP consultant and senior scientist in several companies in the fields of biotechnology, as well as commercial information technology. My qualifications include a Ph.D. in Life Sciences (focus on microbiology, molecular biology and bioinformatics), state of the art knowledge of computational biology and bioinformatics (e.g. indepth analysis of drug targets), work experience on different computer platforms (DOS, Windows, UNIX and Linux based computer systems), hands-on programming skills and scripting for data conversion, professionality in relational databases and web server interfaces. I am actually a hobby musician, not a real composer (although I have done some quartet arrangements for my father's Flute Orchestra) and I am a hobby musician (Blues/Jazz guitar).

The idea of 'Million Dollar Composition' is very good, to bring all the musicians in the world together to make a music which can be accessed by rest of the world. Nice part of this website is one can advertise his music. And more over it is not like other 'Million Dollar .....' websites, its creative and look & feel is very good that it was very nicely fit to the idea of making nice music by many musicians remotely over the Internet. I like this idea very much.
